Building a Thinking Classroom by Peter Liljedahl

My current favorite book is all the rage in the math ed world. Peter Liljedahl's book, Building a Thinking Classroom in Mathematics is both innovative and practical. I experimented with many of his ideas over the past two years in half measures but this year I have fully embraced all 14 practices exactly as he prescribed. So far, the results have been fairly dramatic. If you are interested, please visit https://buildingthinkingclassrooms.com.

  • Yes, but why?

I enjoy books that contain elements of pedagogy, practice, and soul. Although I've read most of these books, I have yet to read Future Driven and The Hurried Child. Soon.
